HOU to downtown Houston: METRO Bus 40 provides local service and continues to downtown Houston and the George R. Brown Convention Center. Transit time to downtown can run one hour.

HOU to IAH: For passengers wishing to travel by bus from HOU to IAH, take METRO Bus 40 downtown. Get off at the intersection of Lamar and Milam. Go to Milam and turn right. Walk one block to McKinney; turn right on McKinney and walk one block to the corner of Travis and McKinney. Catch METRO Bus 102 to IAH Terminal C. Total transit time can run two hours, ten minutes. The fare is $1.25 per ride for a total fare of $2.50.
