About Harmony in the Air

Harmony in the Air is the globally acclaimed, award-winning, Houston Airports Performing Arts Program. The program was created to provide an exceptional travel experience and establish Houston as a five-star global air service gateway where the magic of flight is celebrated. Harmony in the Air presents daily concert-like performances showcasing some of Houston’s most accomplished professional musicians at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and William P. Hobby Airport (HOU.) The performances are presented on beautiful custom-made stages, thoughtfully designed to provide natural lighting, great acoustics, and placed amidst restaurants, shops, and art, enriching the sensory experience.

With a roster of over 90 professional musicians, Harmony in the Air offers a diverse repertoire spanning Classical, Jazz, Spanish, Bossa-Nova, Pop, R&B, and Country Western music, featuring Houston’s rich musical scene. The musicians participating in the program reside in Houston, and several perform in other stellar Houston music venues such as the Houston Symphony, the Houston Grand Opera, and the Houston Ballet. Many of these musicians are educators, imparting their expertise to aspiring young talents throughout their careers.
